Here at Magnacool, we are very proud that our Magnacoolers are manufactured in the UK but that we are a truly international company. We provide Magnacoolers to bakeries all over the world and so when we came across The Bread Project, our interest was piqued.
The Bread Project began when Mirjam Letsch, an accomplished photographer who has written several cookbooks was contacted by Johan Pater. Johan was a 3rd generation baker whose business had grown into a large scale industrial bakery but wanted to tell the story of traditional bread making, since many of those skills were being lost. He asked Mirjam and her husband Hans de Clercq to capture artisan bread from across the world, a project Mirjam and Hans were more than happy to accept and so, The Bread Project was born.
Mirjam and Hans have taken The Bread Project all around the globe including; Morocco, Poland, Iceland, Iran, Uganda, Kosovo, Albania, Romania, Moldova, Bosnia and Croatia and are planning more adventures in the future.
